It's official. The Green Goblin is coming back and he'll be making a pit stop in Amazing Spider-Man in the near future. At this point, not much is known about the return or even weather or not it'll actually be Norman Osborn but I've got a couple of theories of my own. We can go over those later though. First, we have to take a quick peek at the Goblin's official return schedualed for issue 120 of Thunderbolts!

Green Goblin returns in T-bolts!

Before we jet off into my bizarre theories, I just want to say how awesome it is that Warren Ellis started off his Thunderbolts storyline and will be, from what I can gather, wrapping up all of the little details and stories he's been building on since the beginning of his run back in T-bolts #110.

As far as theories are concerned, my thoughts are that Osborn's return to his Goblin roots will undoubtedly force Tony Stark and the rest of the Initiative to remove Osborn as head of the Thunderbolts. While they won't arrest him for his actions, I can see him being allowed to return to the world under the condition that he be reformed and work as a force for good. That'll last all of 10 seconds and he'll probably be right back into his "pumpkin bombing anything with a pulse" ways which will then force him towards his former enemy, Spider-Man. The only real question at that point is, will the Goblin help Spider-Man or try and destroy him? Not to mention, who's running the Thunderbolts once Osborn is outed? Who's to say that he'll even be removed as Director?

So many questions, so few answers.

If you're looking for the full scoop on Thunderbolts #120, check out Marvel.com or, if you have the patience to do so, wait until next week and grab the issue when it's released at a comic shop near you next Wednesday.
