We’re inching closer and closer to the finish line of the Awesome Arena Tournament of Champions. This past week, Batman took on Martian Manhunter and, in a complete stomp, make a mockery of him and everything he once stood for. I won’t bore anyone with the numbers of the contest but needless to say, Batman was the definitive winner of the contest. As for this week, Thor takes on Red Tornado in what will probably be a similar match as last week: a total blowout.

That being said, you’ll need to get your vote in to actually see to it that someone wins this round. So, if you’re wondering how to do that, we’re broken it down into a simple 4-step program:

1. Check out the latest battle and vote for your hero of choice.
2. Leave a comment on CrackerBob’s For The Love of Comics site and tell him who you think will win and why they’ll do so.
3. Check Panels of Awesome Monday morning and see who wins!
4. Repeat several times.

In other news, yesterday featured another great Comic Book Roundtable! In this week’s session, we discussed Batman R.I.P., the events of Secret Invasion #2, as well as our own personal lists of characters we’d like to see axed from their respected comic universes. We’re evil, what can I say?
