Preparing For The Tournament of Evil: Pt. 2

While the last thing I want to do is shift the focus away from current Tournament of Champions, it’s time to get at least a couple details set up for the next tournament on Panels of Awesome, the Tournament of Evil. Last week, I showed off a list of twenty-two DC villains that needed to be voted on to see which eight would make it into the tournament ladder. It’s now time to introduce the twenty twenty-one Marvel villains, eight of which will be making up the other half of the ladder.

Galactus takes aim!

Exactly like the other list published last week, take a couple minutes to run through the contenders and choose your own personal favorite eight that you’d like to see step into the Awesome Arena in the next tournament. Here’s the full list:

  6. Dr. Doom
  7. Galactus
  8. Green Goblin
  9. Loki
  10. Magneto
  11. Mandarin

  16. Super Skrull
  17. Thanos
  18. The Kingpin
  19. The Void
  20. Ultron
  21. Venom

Again, like the DCU list, if there’s a villain that you’d like to see on this list, please let me know and I’ll see if I can add them to the list. While it’s not a 100% guarantee, I’m always open to adding a character or two to the nomination list.

If you haven’t done so already, make sure you cast your vote for this week’s round in the Awesome Arena. In this quarterfinal match-up, Superman takes on The Hulk! Also, make sure you submit your eight picks for the DCU villains in the upcoming Tournament of Evil. Voting for the upcoming tournament will be closing within the next week and a half.

    I don’t know what it is about the Marvel villains but they’re got somewhat less jazz than the DCU villains…

    I must say that I am kinda disappointed that Joker wasn’t involved in the tournament, considering he is one of the most deranged villains, in my opinion at least.

    This isn’t the tournament.

    As I said in my posts, pick eight Marvel villains and eight DC villains from the lists I provided. Those 16 characters will make up the fighters in the next tournament.

    Make sure you check out the DC villain post and choose your eight characters you’d like to see in the arena. Then pick your top eight Marvel villains.

    I might be missing it, but is there a link to the current tournament. I kind of lost track after I moved into my new home. If there isn’t a link, then why isn’t there one?
