Marvel Unveils September 2008 Releases
Marvel.com featured the full list of their releases set for September. Needless to say, it looks like it’s going to be one hell of a month for comics. Secret Invasion out the wazoo, more Ellis-less Thunderbolts and more symbiote than you can shake a stick at. Here’s a couple of titles I’m especially looking forward to this September.

- Age of The Sentry #1
- Secret Invasion: Inhumans #2
- Amazing Spider-Man #570-#572
- Thunderbolts #124
- Thor #11
The Golden Guardian of Good finally gets another mini-series to call his own! This time, we travel back to the silver age of comics and watch as our hero battles the many forgotten, or nonexistent, villains of his rogue gallery.
Witness the Inhumans as they struggle to deal with a world without there king, Black Bolt. Is he alive? Is he dead? I guess we’ll have to wait and find out!
Spider-Man vs. Venom… vs. Anti-Venom. What could be better than that? Goblins you say? Well Green Goblin will be stopping by to battle Menace! Things are going to get out of control for Spidey in September.
Moving into the second issue of T-bolts minus Warren Ellis and Mike Deodato, will Christos Gage be able to keep us fans entertained enough to last through Secret Invasion? I’m not so sure…
It’s Thor. Coipel’s drawing and Straczynski’s writing. It’s golden.
Did I mention New Avengers #45, Secret Invasion #6, Secret Invasion: Brand New Day #2, Invincible Iron Man #5, Venom: Dark Origin #2, Deadpool #1 WITH A LIEFELD VARIANT COVER!?…? Dammit, I think I just barfed on my keyboard. For the full scoop on all of the upcoming releases, and also while I clean up my own vomit, be sure to check out Marvel.com for specific dates as well as number of other covers and comics being released that month.
