Awesome Rematch: Batman vs. Captain America

A couple weeks back, my friend Tim suggested that we should be running rematches for the old DC vs. Marvel crossover that took place years back in 1996 and revolved around people voting for their favorite heroes to decide the outcome of the fights. So, after some input from the POA followers on Twitter, we’ve decided to roll with that idea this week. Has time changed our opinions of these heroes? Have they developed new powers that might make them better competitors?

Lets find out.

Awesome Arena Results: Spidey vs. Logan

Happy Monday everyone! When we closed things up last week, Spider-Man and Wolverine were locked away in our Awesome Arena to battle it out once and for all. After several days of competition, one man battled his way to the top and, thanks to your votes, claimed victory over the other.

Awesome Arena: Spider-Man vs. Wolverine

It’s that time again comic fans. It’s Friday, which means it’s time to open up the doors of our Awesome Arena and pit two of our favorite heroes against each in a battle to the death. This week, we’re having a rematch from the very first installment of the Awesome Arena. In one corner, the Amazing Spider-Man. In the other corner, we have Weapon X himself: Wolverine and, as always, it’s your vote that will decide who wins and who loses.

Awesome Arena Results: Barnes vs. Rogers

Last Friday, we opened up the doors of the Awesome Arena once again to pit Bucky Barnes, the guy who’s currently running around the Marvel U as Captain America, against his former partner and friend Steve Rogers, who held the mantle of Captain America until his death back in 2007.

Awesome Arena: Barnes vs. Rogers

With the relaunch of Panels of Awesome, it seemed to make sense that we resurrect our Awesome Arena. So, we’ve cleaned up the blood and shined up our trophy just in time for a new group of combatants to battle it out in our fantasy matches. So, with Captain America Reborn being such a huge topic in the media right now, why not toss Bucky Barnes, the current Captain America, and Steve Rogers, the former Captain America set to return in Reborn, into our Arena and see who comes out alive?
