First and foremost, thanks for your interest in writing a guest post for Panels of Awesome!

To help you with your writing and our editorial staff with getting your post ready for publishing on our site we've put together a few guidelines and suggestions for you below. Be sure to read through them as some of our requirements have changed recently. These requirements are not hard rules that have to be followed by the letter. They're simply a way to keep things moving along as simple as possible. Most importantly, we want you to write in your own voice so that you and your content have a chance to shine.

Guest posts

Topics of writing:
As you're no doubt aware, we are a comics and collectibles blog that features news, reviews and various other thoughts on these types of hobbies. Naturally, we'd be more incline to feature a guest post that stayed within these boundaries. Please keep this in mind while writing out your post.

Keeping your unique voice:
As was stated earlier, your voice is what will separate your content and make it unique. Approach the writing of your post in the same manner you would on your own site or any other site you've written on and don't feel the need to conform just to fit in with the other content on our site.

Images in your post:
If you plan on having images in your post, which is encouraged, please either send us the images in your email or send us the link to the images so that we can save them to our servers and keep any outside bandwidth consumption to a minimum. Also, please make sure any images you use are available as it relates to copyright issues.

Edits to your post:
Please be aware that your post may require editing or slight alteration in order for it to be posted on POA. This usually means that any spelling or grammatical errors are corrected. Please don't take offense to any edits that are made to your post. This is in the best interest of the readers of this blog, the blog itself as well as you and your site.

Credit and links:
If you'd like to add a byline to your post, which is a couple of lines at the end telling people a little bit about yourself or where they can find such information, feel free. We'd like it if you'd include a couple other places your work can be seen such as your personal site or blog. That way, readers have a chance to see some of your other work.

Exclusivity to this site:
While it's not set in stone, our hope is that your article will remain exclusive to POA and not appear on other sites. If you plan on posting your content elsewhere, please let us know that this will be a multi-site article.

Still interested? Email us your article and we'll reply to confirm the guest entry.
